We have an early start; all students are expected to be in school for no later than 07.55. Those students that live on the station have to find their own way into and back from school. Most walk some cycle whilst others are dropped off by parents using the designated parking area just outside the school grounds.
For those pupils that live in Ayios Nikolaos or Nicosia, the military provides free transport to and from the school. All buses arrive by 07.55 and leave at 14.00. Each day there is a late bus that leaves the school to either Ayios Nikolaos or Nicosia at 15.00 Monday-Weds and 15.30 on Thursdays and Friday. This allows everyone to access the range of after school activities that are laid on each week.
* Whole school assemblies are held on Mondays and Thursdays in the Station church on site. Registration groups are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
** The second school buses leave at 15.00 to allow off-camp students to access after school clubs – Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. On Thursdays and Fridays the second school buses leave at 15.30 hrs.
We operate a 50 period, two-week timetable. Each period lasts for an hour. Some lessons, eg Technology or Art, may have a double period. This is important to allow time to walk to and from the annexe and to allow enough time in lessons to complete the time-consuming tasks that creative subjects need.
