E-Safety

Today’s pupils are growing up in an increasingly complex world, living their lives seamlessly on and offline. This presents many positive and exciting opportunities, but also produces challenges and risks.

At KRS we want to equip pupils with the knowledge needed to make the best use of the internet and technology in a safe, considered and respectful way, so that they are able to reap the benefits of the online world.

We deliver online safety content specifically within our Computing, SMSC and Relationships & Sex Education curriculum, but the message is also delivered within a whole school approach so that whenever the internet is used for research, classwork or homework, teachers remind pupils of the possible positive and negative aspects of working online.
